EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY: Heart Vascular and Leg Center and the Wound Care Center has put prevention measures in place to help reduce the risk to patients and staff for COVID-19.
E-Visits: We are providing medical visits through telecommunications, but by phone and by computer. You may call our office and set up an E-Appointment to be scheduled just like a regular office visit with our health providers. You may schedule a phone consultation or a live stream consultation through our schedulers. We ask for your patience during this time. Please know we are responding to every patient who has scheduled or submitted an E-visit request in the order in which requests are received.
1. NEW PATIENTS: We are scheduling new patients in the office, as new patients must be seen by the physician in order to become an established patient and so that you may get further treatment and medications if needed.
2. FOLLOW UP PATIENTS: We have made the decision to cancel all elective well-care follow up appointments, effective Tuesday, March 17 through March 31. Patients with scheduled appointments have been, or are in the process of being, notified about their appointment cancellation and will be given an option for an eVisit. If you have missed an appointment we recommend that you call us to schedule an eVisit with your provider. We will continue in-person exams to care for acute medical needs in cardiac and vascular care or any other acute needs requiring more immediate medical examination and attention. We will continue to offer patients virtual care (eVisit) options for many acute conditions as appropriate as well.
3. PROCEDURES: We will perform urgent needed case procedures scheduled effective Tuesday, March 17 through Tuesday, March 31. The patient's treating physician will determine if it is appropriate to proceed with a procedure.
4. TESTING: All diagnostic tests are under review for cases that are medically appropriate to be rescheduled Tuesday, March 17 through March 31 otherwise all testing will continue as scheduled.

REFILLS: Prescription refills may be called in as usual, or a new prescription request may be done through an eVisit if your prescription has expired, or your health status has changed.
PATIENT PORTAL: Use your Heart Vascular and Leg Center Patient Portal:
a. Send a message to your providers through your portal.
b. Conduct an E-visit and schedule and conduct Video Visits
c. Schedule or reschedule appointments
d. Check in for in-clinic appointments virtually
