About Elsita

In May 1998, Elsita earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing, with honors, from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences in New Delhi. Soon after, she started working at All India Institute of Medical Sciences, where she worked in the emergency ward of one of the busiest tertiary care hospitals in all of India.
Elsita later relocated to the United States, where she earned her Master in Nursing/Family Nurse Practitioner from California State University, Bakersfield in 2004. She also served as a registered nurse in the busy telemetry unit at San Joaquin Community Hospital.
At Heart Vascular and Leg Center, Elsita is responsible for working as a cardiology and vascular consultant, obtaining the medical history of patients, performing physical exams, ordering and interpreting testing, and prescribing appropriate therapies. Working closely with the practice's cardiologists and interventional radiologists, she performs stress testing, vascular ultrasounds, and several procedures in their vein lab, including radiofrequency ablation, foam sclerotherapy, and ambulatory phlebectomies.
